Speaker: Bill Richmond

About:
Bill Richmond is a Senior Solutions Architect for the AWS Worldwide Public Sector, and has been with AWS since 2015. Prior to joining AWS, Bill spent time at IBM, Northrop Grumman, Martin Marietta, and a number of other integrators and software companies architecting, building or leading teams in building complex systems. More recently, his focus has been on supporting organizations in the financial services sector, including FINRA and the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Bill has degrees in applied mathematics from University of Central Florida and Florida State University.

Speaker: Ben Snively

About:
Ben Snively is a Specialist Solutions Architect on the Amazon Web Services Public Sector team. Ben specializes in big data, analytics, and search technology. Ben has been at Amazon Web Services since December 2014 and previously worked as a government contractor as an engineer and architect. He worked on DoD contracts for over 8 years working with Hadoop and big data solutions and has over 11 years of experience creating analytical systems. Ben has a master's degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a master's degree in Computer Engineering from University of Central Florida.
